Difference b/w come off and come by

    Below are two examples that will hopefully give you a better idea:

    Come off:
    “Its hard to come off a drug addiction” meaning that breaking a drug addition is hard.

    Come by:
    “Money is hard to come by” meaning that money is hard to get/earn.
